This is not true. The pads on the curlers are all made of different materials. If you buy a cheaper version, the pads are made out of cheaper material and are going to be rough on your delicate lashes. This curler is also wider than most out there, so it will curl every lash. Curling lashes automatically adds drama, making your eyes appear bigger and brighter. The curler is $19.00.
